Do I need to install anything to type Arabic?

Can I type Arabic using my regular English keyboard?
Yes. Click inside the text box, then type with your keyboard using the standard Arabic (101) layout. Open the “Use your own keyboard?” panel under the keyboard to see which Latin key produces each Arabic letter — for example, press S for س, G for ل, H for ا, and L for م to spell سلام.
How do I add Arabic vowels and diacritics (tashkeel)?
Use the tashkeel row at the top of the keyboard, or press Shift + Q, W, E, R, T, Y, U or I for the main marks: ً ٌ ٍ ْ َ ُ ِ ّ. Diacritics insert right after the letter they belong to.
Is my text sent anywhere? Does the keyboard need internet?
